Arrive in Delhi, India’s vibrant capital city, where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax after your journey or step out for a gentle introduction to the city’s lively atmosphere, colourful streets, and local flavours. Your tour leader will brief you about the journey ahead and assist with any queries to ensure a smooth start to your India adventure.
If time permits, we’ll visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, one of Delhi’s most important Sikh places of worship. The highlight is its vibrant community kitchen (langar), where volunteers prepare and serve meals to thousands of people every day.
If we can’t fit it in today, we’ll visit it tomorrow.
Your arrival transfer from Delhi airport to the hotel is included in your trip price. Please provide us with your flight details at least seven days in advance to help us arrange for this transfer.
Our half-day Delhi sightseeing starts around 8:00 am (seasonal). We’ll begin at Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, followed by a walking tour through its maze of narrow lanes and colourful, bustling markets. We’ll then hop on cycle rickshaws to explore the famous Spice Market.
Old Delhi is full of character, colour and organised chaos. Take it all in, enjoy the energy, and let the city unfold around you.
The second half of the day is free for you to either relax or go on any of the optional activities your tour leader can recommend.
Today, we’ll leave for Agra around 6:00 am (seasonal) and drive via the Yamuna Expressway. We’ll make at least one midway stop for clean washrooms and a chance to grab some tea or coffee.
Upon arrival, we’ll check in to the hotel and either have lunch first or head straight to Agra Fort. Later in the afternoon, we’ll visit the Taj Mahal.
Today, we depart for Rajasthan around 8:30 am. Our first stop is a village, offering a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of typical Indian cities. We will stay in a century-old home that still belongs to a local family.
We will make at least one midway stop with clean washrooms and tea or coffee options.
In the afternoon, we will take a village walk through residential quarters and rustic rural markets. We will also visit a beautiful temple and, if time permits, join the evening prayer ceremony.
Not on the tourist map, this place offers authentic local interaction, with locals who are warm and welcoming. Be ready to feel like celebrities as you explore the town.
Village Walk
After breakfast, we’ll leave for Jaipur around 8:30 am. En route, we’ll take a detour to Abhaneri, home to Chand Baori, one of India’s oldest and most spectacular stepwells. With its hundreds of perfectly arranged steps descending deep into the earth, it’s a remarkable example of ancient water architecture.
After exploring Abhaneri, we’ll continue our drive to Jaipur.
Distance: 200 kms | Travel Time: Approx. 6 Hrs
After breakfast, we’ll set out around 8:30 am for a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, exploring some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. We’ll see the Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s famous honeycomb-like façade; Amber Fort, a magnificent hilltop palace; Jal Mahal, the beautiful palace seemingly floating in Man Sagar Lake; and Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary collection of 18th-century astronomical instruments.
Together, these landmarks offer a glimpse into Jaipur’s royal past, architectural brilliance and scientific heritage.
Today is a free day in Jaipur, and the choice is yours. Join a local food walk, visit the temples or try a hand block printing workshop. Tell us what appeals, and we'll organise it, or keep things easy with one activity and some well-earned rest. In the evening, we'll gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate the journey.
