We booked our Ranthambore trip with Epic Journeys in April 2024, and it was fantastic! As a couple, we wanted a hassle-free experience, and Epic Journeys delivered. They organized everything seamlessly, from the thrilling canter safari where we spotted 5 tigers (along with 2 leopards just above us sitting on the tree) – definitely the highlight – to arranging a comfortable hotel with delicious meals included. Their local contacts are very helpful and made us feel at home. Booking safaris at Ranthambore can be tricky due to high demand, we recommend confirming your travel dates well in advance. The team from Epic Journeys organised a 13 day tour through Rajasthan for my husband and me. We had an amazing trip. We visited a variety of places and we stayed in 3 or 4 star hotels. The trip had so many things included (most breakfasts, some diners, 2 safaries, 5 guided tours in a fort/palace, a camel ride, all transport and more), yet it was a lot cheaper compared to booking the same trip in Australia. Communication was very easy. Emails were replied to within a few hours, or early the next morning (time difference). They even helped us when Jetair cancelled our flights and we needed another flight. As I didn't book the flights through them, this was not something they needed to do. I can highly recommend Epic Journeys for a personalized tour. They did everything to make our holiday in India a very memorable one.

The trip was very well organised, and it ran perfectly. There was flexibility built into the program, and we felt totally safe and relaxed at all times. Local guides were excellent, and the exposure to very wide and diverse experiences delivered the wow factor. Interactions with locals and Indian tourists were a special highlight. We left understanding so much more about the diversity of the country, the history and the religions, food and culture.
